Masala Idli by @yumfood_artz

Ingredients
1 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/3 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup finely chopped tomatoes
1/4 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp pav bhaji masala
1/4 cup water
Salt
Bell peppers
Turmeric powder
coriander leaves
green onions


Instructions 

  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add 1/2 tsp cumin and mustard seeds, let them crackle.

  2. Then add 1/3 cup finely chopped onion and saute till the onions turn a light brown.

  3. Now add 1/2 cup finely chopped tomatoes and bell peppers. Sauté till they soften.

  4. Then add a pinch of turmeric powder, 1/4 tsp red chili powder and 1/2 tsp pav bhaji masala. Also add salt as per taste. Mix the spices.

  5. Add 1/4 cup water. Mix well.

  6. Then add the chopped idlis. Mix them gently.

  7. Switch off the flame and lastly add chopped coriander leaves and green onions. Mix well.
